2005 "Justice Delayed" Keynote Speaker wins fight

Cobell, the plaintiff who sued the United States government on behalf of royalties owed to the American Indians for use of tribal lands, won her 13-year battle this week. The government settled the case with the creation of $3.4 billion dollars in trust funds, and the creation of a $60 million higher education scholarship fund.
