We are excited to announce a new joint project with Resource Generation!  Resource Generation organizes young people with financial wealth to leverage resources and privilege for social change.  The Seattle chapter is working with SJF to form a group of cross-class people under 40 years old to raise at least $50,000 and grant it to social change organizations in the Northwest.  Over the course of 2010, this group will build community while learning analysis and skills to make effective philanthropic choices.  This project is for those who:

     •    Are under 40 years old
     •    Are passionate about social change
     •    Want to address issues of class and privilege in meaningful ways
     •    Want to make a personal and community investment in change (at a level meaningful to you)

The first NGGP group project has been formed and is working on their current granting cycle.  Check back in at the beginning of next year for an opportunity to get involved!
