The LGBTQ Giving Project is open to anyone who identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Transgender, Genderqueer, or Queer. We will learn about underfunded LGBTQ organizing that’s happening all around the region, explore issues of race and class in our community, and engage in intergenerational dialogue. We will make grants to LGBTQ work that is often overlooked by mainstream funders, particularly organizing in communities of color.

The 2011 LGBTQ Giving Project raised $49,500 and made grants to five organizations doing work that is often overlooked by mainstream funders – particularly organizing in communities of color – in Washington, Oregon, and Wyoming.
