Women all over the world – in villages, corporations and governments – are stepping forward to claim their rightful roles as leaders. What are our unique strengths? How can we align our values and beliefs with our financial and social resources to create real and lasting social change? What is the role of women in social change philanthropy?
Social Justice Fund, in collaboration with Pride Foundation, Social Venture Partners, Women’s Funding Alliance and Washington Women’s Foundation, presents a series of opportunities to explore our strengths as women, philanthropists and social change agents. Through a series of facilitated conversations we will analyze the issues of justice, money and social responsibility. Join us for one or all sessions to maximize the impact of your giving to create real and lasting social change.
We welcome any woman donor who wants to explore intentional ways to use strategic giving, donor activism and other financial acts to advance social justice. This series is specifically designed for women who:
• Have experience supporting organizations, causes and issues important to them
• Want to increase their impact by strategically addressing the root causes of problems
• Want to develop or refine their own philanthropic mission statement and strategic giving plan
We encourage you to share this invitation with your family, friends, and colleagues.
All sessions will be in downtown Seattle. The sessions are Tuesdays September 18, October 2, October 23, and November 13 and will run from 10 AM to 2:30 PM.
