Social Justice Fund is hiring for the Membership Program Coordinator position. The Membership Program Coordinator is responsible for connecting the Social Justice Fund membership with one another, staff, volunteers, and grantees in order to develop engagement and dedication to the organization.  Tasks will include coordinating grant cycles, our annual fundraising dinner, and electronic communications. This past weekend 25 members of Social Justice Fund came together to talk about strategy and vision for the future of the organization at the Tierra Learning Center outside of Leavenworth, Washington.  These 25 people represented an amazing cross-section of SJF—we had members that first got involved everywhere from 30 years to 1 month ago and everywhere in between.  The group represented the diversity of age, geography, race, class, and religion that makes Social Justice Fund unique.  

Dear friends, It is with both excitement and sadness that I write to let you know that I will be leaving my position at the Social Justice Fund NW on December 15th. I was first introduced to the Social Justice Fund in 2005- straight out of college and eager to apply my degree in politics and government to progressive issues in the Northwest. I was lucky enough to attend a Social Justice Fund house party in Seattle, where I had the opportunity to hear firsthand from members about why SJF was a meaningful and important organization to support.
