Job Announcements: Oregon Development Manager & Seattle Project Manager

1. The Oregon Development Manager will increase Social Justice Fund’s donor organizing, fundraising, and grantmaking by supporting the organization’s Annual Fund and Giving Project fundraising efforts. The Oregon Development Manager will work closely with the Development Director and other staff to help steward major donors, organize events and do one-on-one fundraising, as well as supporting the Oregon Program Manager in facilitating Giving Projects and other aspects of our program work. 2. The Seattle Project Manager position (1-year, FT) will fill an important role in our organization, stepping in for a permanent staff member who is going on leave. This is a one-year position with no plans to extend the position beyond March 2019. Working closely with two other Project Managers in Seattle and the rest of the Social Justice Fund Program team, you will implement Giving Projects. This includes outreach, networking, and relationship-building to bring new people into Giving Projects; skilled facilitation on topics as varied as race and class analysis, grassroots fundraising, and democratic grantmaking; and one-on-one coaching of Giving Project members in their individual fundraising plans.
