2012 Member Meeting

The Member Meeting will be a great chance for SJF members to meet one another, participate in thoughtful discussion of social justice issues, make decisions that guide the future of this organization, and vote on our new board members. It’s going to be fun, and we’d love to see you there!

*Note: as it currently stands, members are donors who make gifts of $240 or more per year.

When: Sunday, January 22nd, from 1-5pm
Where: 2100 24th Ave S, Seattle WA 98118 (The 2100 Building)
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

2012 Member Meeting Agenda

1:00 to 1:30— Sign in and mingle with other members
1:30 to 1:50— State of the Organization: Zeke and Mijo will provide updates from the frontlines, including budgetary info, program results and plans for the future
1:50 to 2:20— Member stories: You’ll have the opportunity to connect and share stories with other SJF members
2:20 to 3:05— Group discussion: We’ll have a group discussion about the Giving Project experience and addressing community needs through donor activism
3:05 to 3:20— Break
3:20 to 3:50— VOTE: Member level discussion and vote
3:50 to 4:20— Member benefits: Staff will lead a discussion about what it means to be a member and what opportunities and benefits you want from your membership
4:20 to 4:40— VOTE: Board member introductions and vote of approval
4:40 to 5:00— Closing
