Social Justice Fund NW's 5th Annual Grantee Summit in Seattle

Social Justice Fund NW's Grantee Summit brings together grassroots leaders from across the region for discussions on economic justice, criminal justice, environmental justice, gender justice, immigration justice, report-backs on recent grantee campaigns, and more.  

The event is free and open to the community. This is a great space for all current Giving Project participants, Social Justice Fund members, donors, and friends to learn more about progressive movements around the Northwest.

Summit Schedule:

  • 9:30 - 10:15:  Check-in and hang-out 
  • 10:30 - 11:15:  Welcoming and Opening Plenary ft. Jill Mangaliman, ED of Got Green & Ricardo Lujan-Valerio, Bi-cultural Organizer for Unite Oregon Rogue Valley
  • 11:30 - 12:45: Morning Panels 
  • 1:00 - 2:15: Lunch, food and beverages provided
  • 2:15 - 3:45: Afternoon Panels 
  • 3:45 - 4:15: Closing
  • 4:15 - 5:15: Reception 

Venue Accessibility
El Centro is located approximately a half-block away from the Beacon Hill Light Rail station, and is accessible via bus routes 36, 60, and 107.  Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area; transit/carpooling encouraged.  If you do drive, please avoid blocking residential driveways or mailboxes.  

Building is fully ADA accessible - wheelchair access and elevator is accessible from the first floor of the building. Please refrain from wearing colognes, perfumes or scented oils; and using chemical based laundry detergents or fabric softeners to the event. While we strive to make our events low fragrance, we cannot guarantee a fragrance-free space. More information about how to come to this event fragrance free can be found here
